I guess I'm just not as smart as the McCain crowd because I just don't understand how homeless people filling in fake registration cards for money (Example, Mickey Mouse) helps Obama when people start rolling into the polling booths on November 4. Can you explain it to me?
:(((Because someone will fill out Mickey's absentee ballot and send it in.because a lot of these people are registering AND CASTING THEIR BALLOT at the time of registrationit doesn't matter at all. it will have literally no outcome on the election it was just so the people who were supposed to get people to register would meet their quota. anyone who thinks that this is voter fraud is either not telling the truth or doesn't know what they are talking about.It doesn't. There was just an article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer today about this issue. Essentially, what the workers did was wrong. However, these registrants will either not be allowed to vote (fake names)or will only be able to vote once (multiple registrations of the same name) so no actual vote fraud was committed, only registration fraud. The real problem is that ACORN pays the workers based on the number of signatures and this is what motivates the behavior.you aren't supposed to understand, all they want you to do is be worried and scared and not vote at all

But as for me I don't care which one gets the office that's why I am filling out 100 registration cards and on 11/4 I hope Acorn cast mine 50 for Obama and 50 for Mccain- cause as you elegantly put it what does it matter! That's if Acorn is still involved! Just so you know, if they close Acorn Obama's campaign is out $800 thousand dollars! It is where people register to vote who are not eligable and then vote...It does matter. Obama as ties to this corrupt organization & even donated money to their cause. Acorn has publicly endorsed Obama & it has been documented that some who are registering others to vote are telling them to vote for Obama - which is a violation of the federal law.The ACORN "scandal" is a scam. People seem not to realize that ACORN reviews their forms. However, the law requires them to turn in EVERY form even if they suspect fraud. ACORN flags the forms before turning them in and helps the authorities snag the bogus employees.http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008...

He was once an attorney for the group but no long term association has been established. In the Florida VOTER fraud, not registration, the republicans threw the election twice but I don't recall that ever being resolved. I saw Edna Lewis of ACORN on CNN and she said they turned in many of the violators and are helping prosecute them. There have been over 1 million new people registered and only 1/2 of 1% of them were fradulent. I don't know the truth but I can't see how Obama could be blamed just as I don't blame Bush for throwing the election in Florida. Don't forget to watch Obama after tomorrow on CBS, NBC Oct 29 at 8 pm for 30 minutes each. Also go to YouTube and see the video "Who's the Terrorist" with McCain supporters yelling "off with his head" "kill him" Bomb Obama" etc.It does not help

they know they have already lost when it comes to the issues...It doesnt help Obama at all. You need an ID to vote so a person can only vote once. What the problem is a bunch of underpaid/undermotivated people trying to fill their "quotas" so they wont get fired. Personal laziness nothing more. The fact that McCain is trying to link it to Obama and make it seem important show how desperate he is. IT DOESNT MATTER HOW MANY ABSENTEE BALLOTS GET SENT YOU NEED A SOCIAL SEC NUMBER OR DRIVER LICENSE # ON YOUR FORMfirst it shows that ACORN wasn't looking over the registrations they accepted.
Also, think about it.
If there is no requirement for I.D. and someone is registered to vote fifty times, so long as they live in a heavily populated area, they can vote and re-vote all day long.
Or, if someone else is aware of which registrations are false, they can go in their place and falsely vote under that name.
Sorry to break it to you this way, but these tricks have been common place in Chicago for decades! It's called the Daily Machine. You know, Daily is one of Obama's advisers. OBAMA IN A LANDSLIDE DADDY!!!Because the micky mouse that voted is going to get a ballot sent to their home, and after it is sent in there is no way to track where it came from, also when a person registers 72 xs, which some have, they will get 72 ballots and can vote 72 xs, with out it being tracked, so if they get away with it Obama will win this electionIt isn't voter fraud... as in diebold fixing the machines. It's just people lying on their registrations. In some cases, the workers may have been paid for each completed registration. It's a case of supervisors not watching carefully enough.
And, no, it doesn't seem to represent any conspiracy, because, as you say, these folks don't vote.It doesn't. Because the people who filled out 100 registration cards aren't voting, they just wanted to be paid for getting a lot of "voters". The mccain crowd seems unable to understand that this doesn't affect the polls or is it voter fraud. It is registration fraud and the people at acorn have fired those involved and have already begun to change their hiring and training procedures.
Also, the people AT ACORN investigated and TAGGED most of those false registration cards once they realized they were no good. But since it is ILLEGAL for them to just throw them away, theyhad to send them in. Which they did.
sigh. after the gw fiasco in 2000 and all the republican tricks of purging legally registered voters from their lists, and keeping the number of voting machines low in high dem areas you would think the repubs would just calm down a little bit. First, I believe it is against the law to give someone anything of value to either register to vote, or to vote.
ACORN has done both.
Second, with a fist-full of fake voter registration cards in-hand, the Obama poll workers can fill out a lot of ballots under the fake names, giving Obama more votes than he is legally entitled to.
